Buyer Protection

Overview Our Buyer Protection Policy is designed to promote confidence and fairness when making eligible purchases through our online payment services. It provides a structured dispute resolution process for qualifying transactions where purchased goods or services are not delivered as expected or where other eligible issues arise. This policy is intended to help facilitate fair outcomes between buyers and participating merchants and should not be considered an insurance product or guarantee. Eligible Transactions Buyer Protection may apply to qualifying purchases made through our supported payment services with participating merchants, subject to the terms of this policy. Certain purchases may be excluded, including but not limited to: Real estate and property transactions. Financial products and investment services. Custom-made or personalized goods. Other categories identified as ineligible under this policy. Covered Situations You may be eligible to submit a claim if your purchase involves one of the following circumstances: Goods were not delivered or services were not provided. The item received is materially different from its description. Products arrive damaged, defective, or unusable. A refund has not been processed following a valid cancellation. A merchant has significantly misrepresented the goods or services provided. Authorized recurring payments continue after a valid cancellation request. Exclusions Buyer Protection does not apply to every type of transaction or dispute. Examples of situations generally excluded include: Fraud-related claims, which are handled under separate fraud prevention and security procedures. Transactions involving ineligible products or services. Disputes that fall outside the eligibility requirements or applicable claim period. How to Submit a Claim Before submitting a claim, buyers should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the merchant. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, an eligible claim may be submitted within the applicable claim period. Once received, both parties may be asked to provide supporting information or documentation to assist in the review of the case. Dispute Resolution Claims are reviewed independently based on the available evidence provided by both the buyer and the merchant. Where a mutual resolution cannot be achieved, the matter may be referred to our dispute resolution team for a final assessment. Decisions are made after considering all relevant information and the applicable terms of this policy. Where appropriate, the outcome may include a full refund, a partial refund, or another resolution considered fair based on the circumstances of the transaction. Important Information Buyer Protection is intended to support fair and transparent online transactions by providing an independent process for resolving eligible purchase disputes. The policy does not replace your statutory consumer rights or any protections available under applicable laws and regulations. Eligibility, coverage, and claim outcomes are determined in accordance with the terms of this policy and the specific circumstances of each case.
